Certificate Summary

The Certificaiton aims to help delegates increase their awareness of the standard and its application in differing inspection body environments with reference to ISO processes used for assessment and reporting purposes. Additionally, key differences between ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 and other accreditation conformity assessment standards used for accreditation will be highlighted where relevant. ISO Consultants assist in developing a comprehensive QMS to meet all requirements of ISO 17020 and 3rdParty Accreditation Body Stage 1 Audit requirements. The Stage 1 Audit from ISO 17020 Accreditation Bodies vary depending on the selected Accreditation Bodies which verifies the documented system meeting all ISO 17020 requirements or not. The Certificaiton provides requirements of ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 'Conformity Assessment - Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection. It commences with an overview of the principles of Quality Management and improvement in the context of an inspection body, provides an overview of ISO/IEC 17020 followed by a detailed discussion on each requirement. An ISO 17020 consulting firm provides the techniques for implementation, and trains the organization’s internal auditors to become competent to perform internal audits or provides ISO Internal Auditing Services to audit all processes, all ISO 17020 Standard requirements and effective implementation of ISO 17020 Standard.

• The total duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 Minutes).

Validity and Renewal

The ISO/IEC 17020:2012 - Certified Lead Auditor Certificate is valid for life.

• Remember, when labeling a product or system as certified to an ISO standard:
